Resolving Compliance Tasks
Most Compliance Tasks are resolved by reviewing the related record, then manually marking the task as completed. The exception is Incident Reports, which are resolved by submitting the form. After the action is finished, the task is automatically removed from the Compliance Tasks table.
Policies & Risks
Policy and Risk tasks are generated based on review schedules. To resolve the task:
Open the related record.
Carry out the review activity.
Save any changes.
Mark the task as completed.
When you finish a review, DORAedge automatically updates:
Last Review Date
Next Review Date
Record Version History also reflects the review activity. A new Compliance Task will appear again when the next review date approaches.
Incident Reports
Incident Report tasks remain active while reports are saved as Drafts. To clear the task:
Open the Incident record.
Complete the required Incident Report form.
Once completed, the task is automatically marked as complete and removed from the Compliance Tasks table.
ICT Assets
ICT Asset tasks appear when assets approach their Decommissioning Date. To resolve the task:
Open the ICT Asset record.
Review and update the ICT Asset as required.
Save the updated record.
Manually mark the task as complete.
Contracts
Contract tasks appear when Contracts approach their End Date. To resolve the task:
Open the Contract record.
Review and determine whether to let the contract be terminated, update it, or renew it if it has already expired.
Save any changes.
Manually mark the task as complete.
Data Issues
Data Issues appear when a Contract contains archived linked records, including:
Relationships
Assessments
Supply Chains
Signatories
To resolve a Data Issue:
Open the Contract record.
Review the archived linked record identified in the task.
Either:
Restore the archived record, or
Update the Contract by replacing it with an active record, then save the changes.
Once resolved, the Data Issue is automatically removed from the Compliance Tasks table.
Finding Compliance Tasks in Records
Compliance Tasks can be accessed from both the Compliance Tasks table and the related record.
For Risks, Incident Reports, ICT Assets, and Contracts, date-based Compliance Tasks are displayed as a notification banner on the record details page.
For Policies, review tasks are displayed as an alert within the document drawer.
Selecting a task from the Compliance Tasks table opens the associated record so the required action can be completed.
Compliance Overview
The Compliance Overview section displays the organization’s DORA compliance readiness. As of May 2026, the previous progress bar has been replaced with a donut chart showing:
Percentage of completed controls
Number of controls completed
Number of controls not started
Additional Notes
Compliance Tasks are automatically generated based on record dates and workflows.
Tasks remain visible until the required action is finished.
Data Issues are automatically resolved when archived linked records are restored or replaced with active records.
Compliance Tasks may also be viewed directly from the associated record.
